Introduction to Contact Improvisation

These two classes will focus on the basic principles of contact improvisation: sharing weight, following a rolling point of contact, falling and being off-balance, and organizing our bodies to support a flow of momentum throughout the dance. This class series is designed to serve as a thorough introduction to contact improvisation for folks who have never experienced it, as well as a way to shake off the cobwebs and revisit the fundamentals, for those with more experience.
